Holidays
- Holiday entitlement is 12 weeks in a year.
- A teacher normally teaches for 40 weeks in the year.
- Depending upon where you teach, you would probably have 3 terms divided by a week's half-term.
- There is a longer holiday at the end of the Autumn, Spring and Summer terms.
- The summer vacation is normally five or so weeks, allowing plenty of time for relaxation.
- Teachers also have Bank Holiday entitlement.
