We are offering those planning on undertaking Initial Teacher training from Autumn 2020, beginner teachers and all serving teachers three special opportunities until the end of August 2020:

We are aware teachers may want to undertake just one module of the Teach:RE Tailormade or 60 Hour course rather than undertaking the whole course. We are therefore opening up the course so you can pick just one module of your choice, be tutored through the module and have your work assessed. The cost for this is just £50. Who is this course for?

The Teach: RE course comprises of 3 modules, totalling approximately 60 hours of study. The course is tailor-made to suit your individual professional learning needs. We suggest you follow one of 4 different pathways depending on your needs, interests and context. You can take any pathway that suits you, but we have outlined below who might benefit from each pathway. For each suggested pathway we have indicated which modules we think will be most useful, however you are free to make your own module choice if you prefer.

NB the pathways do not apply if you are only taking one module. In this case you simple select a single module.

Below is more detail about each module, if you are taking the one module option you may choose any module:

Course length

There are two different pathways through the course to meet the needs of different trainees:

• Standard: You complete one module per term (i.e. one year to complete)
• Fast Track: You complete one module per month (i.e 3 months to complete)

A certificate is awarded on successful completion of the course.
